Central Connecticut State University: Elihu Burritt Library
The Burritt Library addition expands the original 1969 building with a mass timber structure that now houses shared classrooms and the new home of CCSU’s physics department offices and labs. The library continues to support academic groups, including language labs and teaching spaces, while also providing swing classrooms during ongoing campus construction. The project also delivered a much-needed HVAC upgrade in the existing stacks, improving thermal comfort and creating a more welcoming environment for study and collaboration.
