One Clinton STEM Center
Perkins Eastman designed the first dedicated STEM Center for the New York City School Construction Authority, located within the One Clinton redevelopment in Brooklyn. The center combines instructional labs, digital design stations, and fabrication spaces—including 3D printing labs—so students in grades 1–8 can learn at different paces in a collaborative environment. With exposed building systems, bright color-coded finishes, and flexible commons space, the design emphasizes innovation, hands-on learning, and the feel of a high-tech workspace rather than a traditional classroom.
