Vassar College: Faculty Lounge

The Vassar College project involved reimagining the historic faculty lounge, originally part of the first building designed by James Renwick Jr. in 1865. The renovation balances preserving the original atmosphere with modern functionality, including new flooring, paint colors, lighting, and refurbished historic furnishings. Modular tables and seating were added to accommodate flexible group meeting configurations, maintaining the space's traditional role as a gathering place for faculty.
